Airdrop and Other Details for the Anticipated Altcoin Have Been Announced – Coinbase Has Also Made a Statement

The Monad (MON) team has shared all the details about its token economy ahead of the highly anticipated mainnet launch.

It has also been confirmed that the MON token will be the first asset to be listed on Coinbase’s newly launched platform next week.

According to the project’s announcement, the total supply of MONAD mainnet tokens was set at 100 billion on the day it launched, with 49.4% of this token to be released into circulation on the first day. The largest share was allocated to the Ecosystem Development Fund, which aims to accelerate the development process.

MON will be released on November 24th.

According to the official distribution table announced by Monad, the initial supply was shaped as follows:

• Ecosystem development: 38.5%
• Team: 27.0%
• Investors: 19.7%
• Category Labs Bolt: 4.0%
• Public offering: 7.5%
• Airdrop: 3.3%

Once the Mainnet is live, approximately 10.8 billion MON (10.8%) will be distributed via public offering and airdrop, and these tokens will be immediately available for ecosystem use.

In addition, 38.5 billion MON will be allocated to the Ecosystem Development Fund, which is currently unlocked and controlled by the Monad Foundation. This will bring the total of 49.4 billion MON into circulation as of the first day.

Investors, team members, and all tokens held by the Category Labs Vault will be locked on the first day of mainnet release. To maintain long-term compliance, the project has set a minimum lockup period of one year for these groups. Accordingly, the locks will not be unlocked until November 2026, and each group’s unlocking schedule will be staggered according to its own rules.
