MegaETH concludes Terminal program early, rewards users in USDM and merges features with Rabbithole

MegaETH pulled the plug on its Terminal points program on May 21, a full month before its originally scheduled June 23 end date. Eligible participants will receive rewards in USDM, the project’s yield-bearing stablecoin, based on their accumulated points and a final activity snapshot.

The move isn’t just an early wrap. It’s a consolidation play, with Terminal’s core features being absorbed into Rabbithole, MegaETH’s official application interface, creating a single entry point for users interacting with the chain.

What happened and why it matters

The Terminal program launched in late April 2026 as an engagement driver for the MegaETH ecosystem.

MegaETH’s leadership reviewed participation data and concluded the points system had already served its purpose.

Users will need to designate a wallet on the Terminal platform to claim their USDM distribution, which is expected to roll out in the week following the announcement. The final snapshot of user activity is what determines who gets what.

Shuyao Kong, a key figure in MegaETH’s leadership, highlighted a shift toward more personalized go-to-market strategies aimed at attracting high-quality applications and users who don’t already live on Crypto Twitter.

The Rabbithole integration and MOSS SDK

Merging Terminal into Rabbithole is the structural centerpiece of this transition. Instead of maintaining two separate interfaces, users will interact with MegaETH’s app ecosystem through a single, unified platform. Rabbithole will handle app discovery and on-chain interactions, essentially becoming the front door to everything built on MegaETH.

Alongside the Rabbithole integration, MegaETH is preparing to launch the MOSS SDK. This is a self-custody wallet solution designed to optimize liquidity and security across applications built on the chain.
