Why Was the BNB Price Not Affected Much by the Recent Drop? Did Binance Founder CZ Sell? Here’s the Answer

Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) made important assessments about both user privacy and BNB’s market dynamics in his statements on social media.

Responding to a community member’s claim that Binance has a dedicated team capable of identifying BTC whales, CZ categorically denied the claim. Zhao said, “I would never want Binance to violate user privacy, and I wouldn’t do that either. It would be best for third parties to use public blockchain data for this type of research. They are quite skilled in this field.”

CZ also clarified the market maker allegations regarding BNB. Zhao said, “Many projects may have market makers, but BNB doesn’t. As far as I know, no individual or entity affiliated with me has traded BNB in recent days or weeks.”

The BNB price has been one of the most resilient during the recent cryptocurrency crash. While many altcoins are poised to close the week with double-digit losses, BNB has gained 7% in the past week.
