The Government agencies of the U.S., such as the National Security Agency (NSA) and the General Services Administration (GSA), have raised strong concerns about the functionality of Grok, an Artificial Intelligence (AI) chatbot developed by xAI, founded by Elon Musk. Multiple U.S. agencies keenly observed the security and privacy breaches of the Grok. Security and Oversight Concerns Mount as Grok Sees Defense Use

There are numerous concerns that different agencies showed toward the Grok, such as Security vulnerabilities, Susceptibility to manipulation and data poisoning, limited traceability, insufficient red-teaming, and higher unpredictability compared to competitors.

Grok is actively being used within the U.S. Department of Defense environment for War-gaming simulations, adversary modeling, and scenario testing.
