BREAKING: Iran Presents 14-Point Peace Agreement to the U.S.; Donald Trump Responds

Amid escalating tensions between the US and Iran, diplomatic and military rhetoric continues to diverge remarkably. The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson asserted that the primary goal of Tehran’s 14-point plan is to end the war, adding that none of the plan mentions the nuclear issue.

This statement indicates that Iran’s priority in the current process is to stop the conflict, while keeping the nuclear issue as a separate negotiating topic.

On the other hand, US President Donald Trump stated that he was not receptive to the proposal conveyed by Iran, saying that the offer was unacceptable to him. Trump also touched upon developments in Israeli domestic politics, making a notable appeal to Israeli President Isaac Herzog and saying that the option of pardoning Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should be considered.

On the Washington front, legal debates are taking center stage. Acting US Attorney General Todd Blanche, in a television program, argued that the US is not officially at war with Iran. Blanche characterized the ongoing process as a “military operation” rather than a “war,” stating that this definition is legally significant and that all of the administration’s actions are within the legal framework. He also added that there have been no clashes or exchanges of fire in the past month.
