Why Ethereum’s $83M capital inflow could signal ETH’s next rally

Ethereum [$ETH] has been on the receiving end of the recent market turmoil, but $ETH now appears primed for a rally.

Community sentiment, which tracks whether interest is bullish or bearish and to what extent, showed a moderately bullish reading over the past day, suggesting the market could be setting a foundation for a broader upswing.

Ethereum’s capital inflow and fee growth signal strength

There has been a massive on-chain capital inflow into Ethereum over the past few days, highlighting investors are rotating capital into the ecosystem.

Artemis data shows the total inflow of capital into the Ethereum chain reached $83 million over the past day, while the netflow stood at $58.5 million.

Large flows like this, especially when sustained over weeks, have often correlated with the asset sustaining its long-term run.

At the same time, fees in the market have surged, reflecting a rise in usage. Daily fees generated in the market have averaged $200,000, showing strong activity and indicating users are likely to help sustain performance.

DEX volume and stablecoin supply keep falling

Volume generation and capital inflow have been key anchors of recent performance, showing the chain has a solid stance.

Interestingly, this hasn’t translated into trading volume across decentralized exchanges on Ethereum, which has continued to fall.

After reaching a peak of $1.529 billion on the 8th of July, volume dropped significantly to roughly $360.9 million. The drop in DEX volume suggests activity in the market hasn’t been evenly distributed across protocols.

For context, DefiLlama reported the volume has plummeted by around 22% in the past seven days alone, as sentiment continues to weaken.

Similarly, stablecoins have seen outflows on Ethereum, with the stablecoin market capitalization declining by around $4.8 billion since the start of July.

At the time of writing, total stablecoin market capitalization has dropped to roughly $149.129 billion, with around $1 billion in outflows in the last week alone. This was a period when volume dropped sharply.

Ethereum looks undervalued

A recent AMBCrypto report shows daily transactions have grown steadily, holding around 2.5 million for most of this year.

By comparison, 2025 saw an average of 1.5 million to 1.6 million daily transactions, reflecting less activity.

The upward growth in transactions, along with a rise in key metrics like total value locked, points to Ethereum being undervalued at its current price of $1,888. Analysts predict a massive price surge within the next two to three years.
