What’s the Status of the Altcoin Season After the Recent Rallies? Has the Bull Market Arrived? Here’s the Latest State of the Index

The Altcoin Season Index, which measures the performance of altcoins against Bitcoin in the cryptocurrency market, is at 61. This level indicates that the market has entered a period partially favoring altcoins.

The index remained stable at 61 in the last 24 hours, while it was at 66 last week and 52 last month.

When annual data is examined, it is seen that the index recorded its highest level in the “Altcoin Season” with 87 on December 4, 2024, and its lowest level in the “Bitcoin Season” with 12 on April 26, 2025.

In the index, which measures the performance of the 100 largest altcoins against Bitcoin, MYX is by far the top performer with a 4,790.69% increase, followed by ASTER with a 2,119.20% increase and M with a 1,170.73% increase. Projects like XPL, OKX, CEC, MNT, OP, CRO, and ENA also stand out at the top of the list. Among the major altcoins, Ethereum (ETH) and BNB (BNB) were among the strongest performers with a 79.89% increase and 77.56% increase, respectively.

During the same period, Bitcoin price increased by 14%.
