Crypto Summit 2026 confirmed its status as a key event in the Russian crypto industry

On March 25-26, the main crypto event of the year, covering cryptocurrencies and blockchain technologies, the VIII Crypto Summit 2026, took place at MTS Live Hall. The event attracted 8,237 participants.

Over the course of two days, 10 thematic sections were held, where more than 70 industry leaders discussed key issues in the development of the crypto market, sharing their case studies and experiences with Crypto Summit attendees.

On the first day of the event, a panel discussion on cryptocurrency market regulation in Russia took place on the main stage. Representatives from the Ministry of Finance, the Bank of Russia, the State Duma, and the Federation Council discussed the future of cryptocurrencies and answered key industry questions about current market challenges.

Special attention was paid to the preparation of a draft law on crypto market regulation. Alexey Yakovlev, Director of the Financial Policy Department of the Russian Ministry of Finance, announced the development of an initiative aimed at defining the operating rules for digital asset market participants, including crypto exchanges, exchange services, and infrastructure platforms.

Leading crypto industry companies were represented in the event’s exhibit area: visitors explored their latest innovative developments, learned about promising blockchain solutions, and discussed opportunities for collaboration.

On the second day of the event, participants enjoyed the traditional Crypto Summit Afterparty at VK GIPSY, where guests enjoyed a performance by the evening’s headliner, BEARWOLF.

At the VIII Crypto Summit, the ANO “Institute for the Development of the Crypto Industry” and the Lebedev Russian State University of Justice signed a cooperation agreement to promote educational and expert initiatives, including research and training of specialists with competencies in law and digital technologies.

After the event, all significant initiatives will be submitted for review to working groups organized by the Institute for the Development of the Crypto Industry. This will ensure expert evaluation of promising ideas and their subsequent submission to the relevant government agencies.

The Crypto Summit has become a catalyst for industry development and confirmed its status as the only large-scale platform in Russia for constructive dialogue between government officials and cryptocurrency market participants.
