Quantum.Tech World today announces its most ambitious programme to date, headlined by two of the most influential figures in the history of quantum computing: Peter Shor, whose algorithm defined the field, and John Martinis, recipient of the 2025 Nobel Prize in Physics for his foundational contributions to superconducting qubits and experimental quantum physics.

Peter Shor, Professor of Applied Mathematics at MIT, will deliver the opening keynote: “Quantum Horizons 2026: Shaping the Next Era of Global Innovation and Impact.”

His address will frame the scientific, economic, and geopolitical implications of quantum computing as it transitions from promise to practical capability.

Joining him as a headline speaker, John Martinis, 2025 Nobel Laureate in Physics, will present: “From Nobel Discoveries to Scalable Quantum Hardware.”

A pioneer of superconducting qubits, Martinis has played a defining role in translating Nobel Prize–recognized quantum science into working quantum systems.
