Philadelphia Union and Marseille Football Clubs Add AI Fan Assistants

Philadelphia Union and Olympique de Marseille have added AI customer service agents to their official apps and websites. The tools are built with Theta EdgeCloud and are designed to answer supporter questions at any time. Both clubs use the agents to handle common questions about tickets, memberships, stadium services and matchday activities.

In the Philadelphia Union app, UnionBot can help supporters find suitable seats, food options and information about activities at the stadium. Marseille’s agent works in both French and English. Supporters can use it to find information about the Peuple Bleu & Blanc membership, cards and member packs. The service is available outside normal customer support hours.

The tools also give clubs data about the questions supporters ask. Staff can review usage and see which topics appear most often. This can show where information is unclear or where a promotion or membership process needs better instructions. The clubs can use these patterns to update their communication before the next match.
