The Landscape Is Changing for Altcoins: These Are the Ones Developers Have Focused On Most Over the Past Month

Cryptocurrency analytics company Santiment has shared the projects with the most active developer communities in the yield farming sector, based on 30 days of GitHub data.

According to the company’s published list, yearn.finance ($YFI) topped the list in terms of developer activity, while Aave ($AAVE) and Gearbox Protocol (GEAR) also stood out in the top rankings.

According to Santiment data, some projects rose in the rankings while others declined compared to last month. Yearn.finance, Gearbox Protocol, Katana, and the Ethereum and Arbitrum versions of SushiSwap stood out in particular, showing increased developer activity.

Based on developer activity over the past 30 days, the most prominent projects in the yield farming sector are ranked as follows:

2. Aave ($AAVE) – 5
3. Gearbox Protocol (GEAR) – 3.33
4. Katana (KAT) – 3.1
5. Beefy.Finance (BIFI) – 3.07
6. Inverse Finance (INV) – 0.9
7. Alchemix (ALCX) – 0.833333
8. QuickSwap (QUICK) – 0.733333
9. SushiSwap ($SUSHI) [Ethereum] – 0.6
10. SushiSwap ($SUSHI) [Arbitrum] – 0.6

The yield farming sector has suffered losses, particularly after Aave was indirectly affected by a major hacking incident last month.
