General Updates
Neo Core released Neo-CLI v3.10.0, laying the groundwork for the upcoming Gorgon hard fork, alongside new developer tools, wallet enhancements, and an official Docker image for simplified node deployment. The update will mark a significant step toward readiness for the C# reference node, which must complete its dynamic opcode pricing implementation before the fork can proceed. The release was published on June 11, deployed to the T5 TestNet on June 12, and is planned for MainNet on June 26.
Neo Global Development launched a “Rock Paper Scissors” game on the Neo X sidechain, allowing users to experience Neo’s anti-MEV features firsthand. The game offers two modes, and the difference between them is the lesson. Standard Mode advertises a 10x payout, while MEV-Protected Mode pays 2x. All $GAS that accumulates in the game, including rewards won by bots and rewards won by the house, returns to the pool so players can keep testing. The game is live and playable at rps.ngd.network.
Bane Labs reduced fees on the native bridge connecting Neo N3 and Neo X and, in a separate change, raised the caps on how much $NEO and $GAS can be moved across. The fee cuts took effect at the end of May, lowering most transfer costs by up to 90%, while the higher caps double the bridgeable $NEO limit to 200,000 and quadruple the $GAS limit to 400,000.
COZ distributed 223 $NEO across two ecosystem contributions in Proof of Working 2.7, recognizing continued work on speculative token launching and decentralized storage developer tooling. Paulo Aboim Pinto received recognition for continued development on HushForge, a token-launch tool for Neo N3. Merl released v0.1.0 of a native Zig implementation of the NeoFS SDK. The latest round brings cumulative distributions under the relaunched program to 4,412 $NEO since January.
NeoRedPill signed a listing agreement with cryptocurrency exchange BiFinance, marking the community project’s first centralized exchange listing. As part of the listing process, the NeoRedPill team assisted with technical integration work to integrate the Neo N3 infrastructure into BiFinance, where the Neo ecosystem was not yet fully supported. The token is expected to go live on BiFinance on July 1.
NeoPod announced its next AMA session will take place at 6:00 p.m. (UTC) on July 6 with grassroots community builder Aziz. The text-based AMA will run in the #Proposal-Questions-AMA channel of the NeoPod Discord server.
